From Mom’s online condolence book

April 11, 2013

So sorry to read that Mrs Sheehan passed away. She was my 6th grade teacher in the Manchaug School in 1952. I met her in Whitinsville about 15 years ago and even though I had not seen her in 45 years I knew who she was. I spoke to her, told her my name, and said I was sure she would not remember me. ” Of course I remember you, you lived on Lackey Dam Road and had a younger brother Tom who was also my student” was her reply.

She was one of the special teachers I always remembered.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of “Mrs. Sheehan”. She was my 4th grade teacher at North Grafton Elem. School back in 1983. I remember her as a professional, kind, and sweet teacher. I presently work with her granddaughter, Katie. Prayers and thoughts to you and your family.

your mother was a remarkable woman. i will miss her so much. Her laugh, her ” I’m fine”, and her love of recipe books. Every day she asked about my son, and was always excited to see him when i brought him in to visit. He is handicapped but she always knew exactly how to talk to him. I am so sorry for you and your family’s loss.

With deepest love, and Sympathy

I am so lucky to have gotten to know you over these past 5 years. Marrying your grandson, Tim, and being accepted into your family has made me so happy. I have grown to love you and all the Sheehans so much. I will miss you, but you will always be in my heart. Ned, Brian, Kerry, and Kevin were so lucky to have you as their mother, and my heart breaks for them. Every life you touched is forever changed because of your smile. Rest now and know how much you are loved and missed.
